Description

Kasar is a traditional homemade, delicious sweet made on various festive occasions. It is also called Kasar Lodh. It is prepared using ground rice flour, mixed fennel seeds, and ghee. Mix all this together, crush the jaggery into powder, and add it to the mixture. Dry fruits can be used to enhance the taste. We can sprinkle some milk on our hands and apply some ghee before making small, round laddus.

Its delicious taste will make you want to eat more of it. Although you can eat it anytime, but this dish is enjoyed the most during Chhath Puja. It is beneficial to consume it during the winter season.

Material: ground rice, jaggery powder, ghee, fennel, cardamom, semolina, and black pepper (optional).
